## In DriveChain's Market:

<mark style="color:blue;">**Vehicle Data Producers (VDPs)**</mark> supply the market with vehicle data.&#x20;

<mark style="color:orange;">**Vehicle Data Buyers (VDBs)**</mark> obtain permission to use their data. &#x20;

<mark style="color:blue;">**VDPs**</mark> generate recurring revenue based on the volume and usage of the data generated.

<mark style="color:orange;">**VDBs**</mark> pay for using licensed vehicle data, which are used as compensation for the <mark style="color:blue;">**VDPs**</mark>.

<mark style="color:orange;">**VDBs**</mark> can sell processed data back into the market to generate recurring revenue.

### Vehicle Data Ownership and Access

* [x] <mark style="color:blue;">**VDPs**</mark> maintain ownership of their data.
* [x] <mark style="color:orange;">**VDBs**</mark> gain individual access rights to a specific set of vehicle data.
* [x] <mark style="color:orange;">**VDBs**</mark> are prohibited from resale vehicle data unless the <mark style="color:blue;">**VDP**</mark> transfers ownership.
* [x] <mark style="color:orange;">**VDBs**</mark> own their processed vehicle data and services.

### Vehicle Data Ownership Rights

* [x] <mark style="color:blue;">**VDPs**</mark> permission is necessary for each instance that their vehicle data is purchased.
* [x] <mark style="color:blue;">**VDPs**</mark> can transfer ownership of their vehicle data to permit the resale of it.
